We are lucky to have a city park and a public elementary school right down the street from our end of the culdesac. The dog loves to take a walk around the park and school grounds, and today, for the first time we toured the on-campus Urban Harvest Garden.

Sherry and the dog got a head start. She’s already at the school. I’m trailing behind.

 

 

The tennis court is on the left; the school and school playground is on the other side of the fence on the right. The green leaves above Sherry’s head are the banana tree. The vegetation you see to the right are part of the Urban Harvest Garden.
