1 cup salad oil
2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
3 cups apples, chopped

Directions

Mix together sugar and oil. Add eggs and beat until creamy. Add vanilla

Combine salt, soda, baking powder and flour. Add a small amount of dry ingredients to the oil and sugar mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into a greased tube pan and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes. It’s done when knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
