A 2nd grader I’m TOTALLY in love with all of the sudden began paying attention to me. She has always been timid around me; but yesterday, she started talking to me, smiling, etc…..

And after the service, when I played a customary ”postlude,” she came to join me at the piano for the first time ever.

I could tell by the way she was watching my fingers that she plays too, so I invited her to sit down at the piano.

She put her finger to her lips and timidly admitted that she couldn’t think of anything to play.

”How about your last recital piece?” I encouraged her.

She went for it.

She took my place and played her piece.

Made my DAY!
