Evelyn’s Banana Bread

Evelyn is one of my good friends from church. She baked me a loaf of delicious banana bread, and I asked her for the recipe. This is a copy of what she sent me.

Ingredients
 
 
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped nuts
 
Directions

Cream together sugar and butter. Add bananas and eggs. Mix thoroughly and set aside.

Sift flour, salt, and baking soda together. Add to banana mixture. Fold in nuts.

Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350.
