Mushrooms and Onions
1 pound mushrooms; cleaned and sliced
1 large yellow onion; diced
2- 4 T soy sauce
salt and pepper
1 tsp, plus toasted sesame oil
In wide skillet (with a lid) saute the onions in the olive oil for a few minutes; add the sliced mushrooms. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add soy sauce.
Cover; reduce heat and allow to simmer until onions are nearly soft. Stir in Sesame oil. Remove from heat and allow to rest covered.
