We picked up this wild-caught cod at Krogers, and gave it a try. We both were delighted with the way it turned out. We’re going to try this with a freezer pack soon.
Ingredients
2 Cod filets, 1-inch thick
Butter
Old Bay Seasoning
Vinegar (We used red wing vinegar)
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Directions
Heat olive oil in pan over medium high heat.
- Pat filets dry.
- Season both sides of fish with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Old Bay.

- Check for flakiness and remove if done. If not continue carefully.
- Allow to rest 2-3 minutes.
