Still learning how to use the Nuwave. This one worked out pretty well.
2 lbs chicken wings
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup corn meal
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt (or more to taste)
1 tablespoon paprika
Cut chicken wings into drummies and middle sections. Save the tips for stock.
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Toss each piece of chicken in the breading mixture; then allow to sit for 5 minutes.
Toss again in the breading; then place on the Nuwave’s 4″ high rack. Cook on high for 7 or 8 minutes. Turn; and cook another 7-8 minutes. Cooking times will vary depending on the size of the wings.
Allow to cook enough to handle; then serve with a good hot sauce such as Crystal.
